Protect The Protest Adds to the Voices Calling for Anti-SLAPP Law in Kentucky

In the 2020 legislative session, Louisville Representative Nima Kulkarni filed anti-SLAPP bill in the Kentucky General Assembly. Protect the Protest has created this fact sheet to explain why Kentucky needs to pass this law. If it passes this bill, the state would join the ranks of the 30+ other states that have some form of anti-SLAPP protections that protect public watchdogs from being bullied by corporate and wealthy interests through the legal system.
